Wayne, PA— Alden Investment Group announces their latest branch expansion, with the opening of the Alden Red Bank office in Red Bank, NJ.

Formerly with Cantella & Co., the Red Bank team decided to join Alden after their old firm merged with a larger independent broker-dealer and was no longer offering Raymond James as a clearing option for their advisors and clients.  After some research, the Red Bank team found Alden’s broker-dealer was affiliated with Raymond James and began their due diligence.

“The boutique feeling, along with the ability to clear through Raymond James, was the main driving force in our decision to join Cantella back in 2017.  We chose to begin the process of interviewing multiple firms in an effort to find one that would continue to provide our advisors and clients the advantages of working in a boutique-like setting, as well as provide the best clearing options.  In that process we were lucky enough to encounter Alden Investment Group based in Wayne, PA.  After meeting with Greg Hansell, CEO and Chris Coloracci, Head of Private Client Group, we knew immediately that we had found the perfect fit,” said Jim Cady, Director of Wealth Management at Alden Red Bank.

Opening up a new branch office is never an easy task, but the Red Bank team felt they were in good hands with the robust product offerings, advanced technical infrastructure and operations proficiency at Alden.  Jim Cady added, “Working with Alden provides us with an incredible collection of products and resources to help our clients reach their financial goals along with incredible support system allowing us to continue to expand our team here in Red Bank.”

About Alden Red Bank

Alden Investment Group of Red Bank was founded in 1952 as a specialist on the floor of the Boston Stock Exchange, making markets over the years in hundreds of New England-based companies. In 1969, the company purchased a seat on the New York Stock Exchange and, at one time, Alden Investment Group of Red Bank was one of the largest execution providers for institutional investors and asset owners in Pacific Rim countries.

The firm evolved to remain relevant as the landscape changed, eventually becoming a clearing firm for smaller broker-dealers. Today, Alden Investment Group of Red Bank empowers independent financial advisors to own their independence by providing customized technology, multiple clearing relationships, and comprehensive investment tools and services to leverage when managing your investments.
