Aaron prides himself upon being a consultative partner for financial advisors, helping them serve their clients with tailored investment portfolios and bespoke service, while scaling or monetizing their practice.
By leveraging his relationships with institutional asset managers (including SMAs, model portfolios, mutual funds, ETFs and structured products), Aaron is able to provide advisors with a collaborative community of portfolio strategists and resources.
At Alden, Aaron is the Managing Director of Alden Cove, a platform focused on providing financial advisors with modern technology, investment access and bespoke service. The Cove principles of clarity, objectivity, vision and execution are designed to assist advisors in constructing client portfolios, providing an elite level of service, and building their ideal practice.
In leading the Alden Cove division, Aaron works directly with the Alden Asset Management team to create model portfolios/SMAs/UMAs, in addition to managing client accounts for institutions, families and individuals. Aaron’s asset management relationships empower him to take a truly consultative approach, and create customized portfolios to the benefit of clients and advisors.
Aaron’s expertise and experience, along with Alden Cove’s technology, trade order management system and digital back office, allow him to help advisors with business scalability, succession planning, monetization and transitioning their business to a trusted new advisor with minimal disruption.
Over his career, Aaron has been affiliated with firms spanning the wealth management continuum from the independent to wirehouse channels in roles including capital markets, wealth management, investment management, recruiting and business development.
Aaron began his university education at Sydney Business School in Australia, before graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Finance with Honors from Rutgers University-Camden, where he also played soccer. He also holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.
