Robert Lansing credits his start as a financial advisor to the window cleaning business he created and ran each summer during his college years.
This introduced him to the entrepreneurial and client-focused mindset that led his father to suggest that looking into being a “stockbroker” after graduation might be a good fit for him. His father’s sage advice led Robert to join Dean Witter Reynolds in 1985, where he worked until 2001. Subsequently, he joined Smith Barney until 2009 and Wells Fargo Advisors until 2021. He has been a Five Star Wealth Manager award winner every year since 2009.
Robert has thoroughly enjoyed his role over these years as what he refers to as a “Financial Shepherd”, working closely with his clients, developing personal relationships and crafting unique wealth plans, investment strategies and diversified portfolios. Most of these relationships can be measured in decades, something he finds very rewarding.
Robert was born in Philadelphia, grew up in the Chestnut Hill area and graduated from William Penn Charter School. He attended Denison University and graduated with a BA in Economics and a minor in History.
Robert lives in Doylestown with his wife, has three kids, two dogs and enjoys dragon boating, pickleball, golf, gardening, cars and travel.
